The Potty Train..
the ride was not so smooth today..2 accidents. Not bad, but I had to force him to go everytime he did..and this includes me picking him up kicking and screaming and bringing him to the bathroom. Hopefully tomorrow is better?

Zero.
I've been attempting (for like the 5th time) to potty train Kyin. I figured it'd be easier when we will be in one place and he's just with me. Well, today is day 3..and NO ACCIDENTS!! He's been in the same pull-up ALL day..that includes nap time!! Jer & I are VERY proud of him! Way to go Ky!
e-mail.
So, Jerrad finally got assigned an email address. If anyone would like it, message me and let me know =).
It's here..
Well...we got *some* snow. Doesn't look like 6-12 inches. But there's probably about 2-3. Therefore the kids and I have to stay holed up the the apartment because people are idiots down here and can't drive in the snow/slush.
Oh yeah, this isn't my apartment complex, it's the one behind mine..it was taken out of my bedroom window.

Snow?
So, it's all over the radio/news down here that we're supposed to get 6-12 inches of snow. Now up the the mitten, that's not horrible. It sucks, but we deal. Down here, it's a whole 'nother story! At 8:30pm, mind you, it's not even snowing yet and it's 30 degrees the city basically shut down tomorrow. For Real.
Here's the totals..so far:
School closings (including colleges): 16
Businesses: 12 (including museums, galleries, and Doctor's offices)
Government : 11 (included in those 11 are all city ran establishments. ie:libraries, parks...)
Churches: 5
There was also a big concert scheduled for tomorrow and they cancelled it "for safety purposes"
The local grocery stores..including Food Lion, The Commissary, Walmart are out of milk, bread batteries..seriously. It's CRAZY.

Kyins Masterpiece.
Kyin likes to draw me pictures. I asked him to make me a smiley face. He decided to make a whole person =]

Sophie dancin with Dora.
I posted this on Facebook last week. But for those of you who don't have a Facebook..here it is. This was at the hotel in Newport News, VA and it was taken with my blackberry-so the quality isn't the greatest. Lemme be clear..no she is not naked, she has on red & white striped jammies. And, she had just woken up so she had morning saggy diaper..it's not a weiner.

Jerrad's Ship.
Here is the link to Jer's ship's website. There is a tab called Family Web. If you want, you can apply to get a log in ID and can be up to date on his ship. If anyone wants his info to apply just email me (i deleted my email, if you still want info, comment or get ahold of me). There's no guarantee that they will approve everyone..but it's worth a shot =).
weeelllll...I guess it would help if i actually put up the link..der. Anyway, here it is.

So...
most of you know that we're here in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Let me start out by saying that I LOVE Virginia Beach. Seriously. Although, I HATE our apartment complex. It's a lil sketchy to say the least.
For the one's who don't know: Jerrad's ship was called down to help out in the Haiti relief. He left a couple weeks ago and hopefully will be back soon..I'm not counting on it though. BUT when he does return, we will be putting in an application for the new military housing down here. It's GORGEOUS, but has a 12 mo wait list. Hopefully we'll get in there before our lease is up here.
Besides our colds we're passing back and forth, Kyin & Soph seem to be adjusting well to the change. They LOVE not having to bundle up when we leave the apartment (it's been average of 50-60 degrees down here).
I will post pictures of the place when I get everything unpacked and the boxes removed.
